Bill commenced his plumbing apprenticeship in 1956 and has worked in a variety of areas covering air-conditioning, heating, cooling, multi-story work, industrial, commercial, domestic and rural plumbing.
Membership of the Country Fire Authority volunteer fire fighters for 42 years led to Bill's interest in fire protection for homes in high-risk areas.
